Ashley rolled over for the first time (back to stomach) for the first time yesterday! I missed the first time, but I got the second attempt on video! As you can hear on the video, I was SUPER excited.

My BFF
Ok, I'm going to get a little mushy here...
Today is Thanksgiving, and I was sitting here thinking about all that I have to be thankful for this year. It goes without saying, that I thank God for giving all of us our beautiful Ashley. Even with an extremely stressful pregnancy, and the challenges that we have faced, I am just so thankful that she is in our life.
In addition, it just occurred to me that it has been almost 20 years (18 if I do my math right :) ) since Kelly and I became friends. It was Thanksgiving break of 7th grade, and Kelly just returned home from getting stitches in her head because a firewood log was dropped on her head by her neighbor. Anyways, ever since we hung out that day, we have been the BEST of friends. We have been through ups and downs, happy and sad, good and bad, and even lived hundreds of miles apart during college, and our friendship has never waivered. We saw each other graduate from college (UT & Tech) and also saw each other graduate with our Master's Degrees! She was the first to hear about my engagement to Alex, stood by my side in our wedding, supported me through a very stressful pregnancy, and was the first to walk in my hospital room after Ashley was born. Kelly, thanks for always being there for me and I am so thankful for you!. Love ya Kel.

First 10k
Well, it's not my first 10k ever, but it IS my first race back since I had Ashley! I finished the Arbor Day run in 58:59! I was really proud of myself for running all 6.2 miles without stopping and averaging a 9:30 mile! Not too bad for having a 2 and a half month old! I'm also registered to do the 5 person relay for the White Rock Marathon (on December 3) supporting the Scottish Rite Hospital. you know how much it will mean to me this year to support such a near, and dear cause.

Happy Birthday Daddy!
We celebrated Alex's 42nd Birthday (November 5th)at Duke's with Aunt Kelly! Thanks Grammy & Pa Pa for watching our girl! We were only out for a few hours and we were ready to go home! I think we both missed Missy. Tim & Shawn stopped by our house to hang out for awhile too, but I didn't get any pics..Happy Birthday to Alex! He's such a great dad to his little girl!

2 Month Appointment
This post is a little late, but I want to make sure I get Ashley's 2 month stats recorded... She had a really rough couple of days after our other Dr's appointments :( but... she was a trouper when she got her shots, and cried only for a few minutes. I think I took it worse than she did. Ashley was 23 3/4 in. (90th%.. yes, that's my tall girl!), 12 lbs. 9 oz (90%), and head circ. 15 3/4 (75th%). We also finally found a pediatrician that we really like... Dr. Mosier. He spent about an hour with us, and he kinda sounds like <Matthew Mcconaughey.

Halloween 2011 Cont.
Our party at work was fun, as usual! My department did Grease this year! I was the good Sandy, Erin was Frenchie and Jocelyn was Rizzo.
Demmi and Ashley came up for the festivities for the kids in the afternoon. It's crazy to think that Demmi has been coming to the Halloween party since she was 4!
