Yes, it's true... At the expo for The Dallas Marathon (I ran the half), they were taking video clips of everyone saying "Why I Run" and I gave a short clip about the reason why I run. Little did I know, they decided to use my video during the broadcast of the marathon that day. I had a bunch of people tell me about it, but I didn't get to see it.

We didn't get the house.... I'm really sad and upset right now and even thought about deleting the prior post with the pictures, but I decided to stay positive and leave it as reminder when we do find THE house for our family. I really hope that comes fast b/c this sucks!

Tick Tock... Will we get it???

 So, Alex and I (well, mostly me) have been looking for a new house for almost 2 years. We've only made two offers during that time, and we made our second of the two yesterday... Now we're just waiting to find out if the sellers are interested... hoping & praying for some good news today!

Pumpkin Patch Fun & Half Marathon



Here's a few more pictures from the Pumpkin Patch. In addition to the words she's starting to say, she's really into pointing and waving.

I ran another half marathon in October and it was so much fun! It was right down the street from my parents' house and it was called The Showdown. We had our gear on to support our Horns!! I had my best time ever 2:04, even though it was a super HILLY course.

I'm so behind on my blogging!!! Things have been really busy around the Laclette household lately... INCLUDING our little girl. She is SO busy and constantly on the move! She is really starting to put words together including: ouch, uh oh, all done, agua, wawa (water).

Fun Weekend

Dab-a-dab-a-dab...No, it's not the Flintstones this time... I'm not sure what she's trying to say, but it's funny! I haven't caught it on video yet, but it's cute!!

Ashley and I met my good friend Lindsay and her daughter Giuliana for brunch on Saturday. :) We went to downtown McKinney. Fall is in the air, so we had a great time walking around in the chili weather with our girls. Lindsay is pregant with her 2nd little girl (due in January), so it was really fun to see her! I also ran into our friends Matt & Ginny (I work with Matt) and their family at the restaurant. They have the cutest kids!!
