Word Explosion!

Our Missy girl is less than a month away from her 2nd birthday and.. HOLD ON... I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT she is going to be 2 already. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? Anyways, she is almost 2 and over the last few days, her vocabulary has exploded! She is talking about "things" in context, and it's sometimes funny to hear her talking. She is also definitely in the TERRIBLE 2's already. I think it's because she knows what she wants but just can't quite articulate everything to us yet. All I know, is she is very stubborn and we are going to have our hands full!!! But, she is the BEST thing that ever happened to us and we love her to pieces.

Milestone

This isn't a foot milestone this time. ... My missy girl told me she loved me for the first time!! My heart just melted. I love my girl!

4th of July 2013

We had an AWESOME long holiday weekend! We went to Joe Pool lake on the 4th (kid free) with Kelly and her boyfriend MAtt. 

Then we went to Lake Texoma to visit the whole Albright family on the 5th for the night.

May Fun

I always forget how nice March through May is in Texas. Although we get wind and rain, it is actually pleasant enough to enjoy the outdoors. Anyways, May has been a fun month for us. We got in the hot tub for the 1st time this season and went to the Wildflower festival. Also, we had our family over to celebrate Mother's Day. Here's a few pics:

I went to the store (by myself) today. I know, it's a treat to do that these days. I got home and Alex and missy were swimming. I'm pretty sure he didn't look for the swim diapers. I swear it must have weighed 2 pounds!
